There are also more than 10 unique golf courses in the area including the Tubac Golf Resort & Spa 27-hole championship course and the Esplendor Resort at Rio Rico designed by the late Robert Trent Jones, Sr.

The southern border of Morning Star Ranch abuts the 5,000 acre Sonoita Creek State Natural Park, a virtual paradise of conservation.
